Shells From Around
The World

Overview
Shells From Around the World is a vintage-inspired publication created to support Brighton Collectibles’ seasonal jewelry collection influenced by the beauty and diversity of seashells. The brochure introduces customers to the natural inspiration behind the collection while highlighting key pieces through an educational, story-driven format.

Role
Publication design, layout system, typography, and visual direction.

Approach
The design draws from vintage naturalist field guides and travel journals, reinforcing the theme of exploration and discovery. I developed a structured layout that pairs educational content about shells with curated product features, allowing readers to learn about the inspiration behind the collection while easily identifying related jewelry pieces.

Typography, spacing, and imagery were carefully balanced to maintain a sense of refinement while preserving the charm of a vintage reference piece. The layout system was designed to guide the reader through the publication while highlighting both the natural forms of the shells and the craftsmanship of the jewelry.

Outcome
The final brochure transforms product marketing into a storytelling experience, helping customers understand the inspiration behind the collection while encouraging product exploration. The piece supports Brighton’s broader retail storytelling strategy by connecting natural inspiration, design craftsmanship, and product presentation.
